Do your teas contain any dairy?
Some of our teas contain chocolate. Otherwise, our teas are dairy-free. You can find all ingredients listed on every tea page.

How are your teas packaged?
At Tea Phactory we care about keeping your hand-selected, premium, loose leaf teas absolutely fresh. That’s why we pack every tea order in a food grade tin made of high-quality tinplated steel. This packaging keeps air and light away from your teas, ensuring the flavors are as bright and delicious the day you drink them as they were the day we packed them. Sure, we could use something less expensive like lined paper or plastic, but we care too much about our tea and your tea-drinking experience.
How should I store my tea?
We pack every tea order in a food grade tin made of high-quality tin-plated steel. Your TeaPhactory tin will protect your tea from exposure to light, humidity, and high temperatures, ensuring the flavors are as bright and delicious the day you drink them as the day we packed them.
You also want to keep your teas in a dry and cool place, away from the stove and do not store in the refrigerator or freezer. Oxygen, moisture, and foreign aromas are all enemies to the delicate subtleness of tea. It’s best to store away from other strong smelling items.
Is it safe to brew tea in the sun or to make what is often referred to as ‘sun tea’?
TeaPhactory does not recommend nor endorse the practice of making ‘sun tea’. Steeping tea bags in a container of water in the sun creates an environment where bacteria are more likely to survive and multiply. Tea and tea products must be heated at a high enough temperature to help in controlling any natural bacteria activity that can occur in the process of making tea.
Can I change or cancel my order?
In most cases, we are not able to cancel or change orders after they are placed through this website.
The process of fulfillment begins soon after an order is placed, which leaves virtually no window for editing or canceling an order. Contact Customer Service immediately after placing an order, and we will do our best to accommodate these requests.
What is your return policy?
We want you to be satisfied with your order and we will gladly exchange or refund any tea items. Please refer to our Return policy.
The promotion code or other coupon code did not work, why?
Promotional coupon codes may not be valid towards sale items, gifts, or teaware. The coupon code may be case sensitive and may not work if they are copied and pasted. We make no guarantee on offers/coupons made on others’ (e.g. third-party) sites.
